A LITTLE BIT ABOUT ME<\/h2>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

I am Isabelle, licensed psychologist and psychotherapist in Maarkedal and Oudenaarde. In my practice, I help adults struggling with anxiety, trauma or stress to experience peace, resilience and connection again.\u00a0<\/p>

I am married in 2004 and mom of 2 treasured children. In daily life I am fortunate to be able to work with people on a daily basis and step along in their life story<\/b>. That is an adventure in itself that I am incredibly grateful<\/b> for.\u00a0<\/p>

In the rest of my life, I love sports, singing<\/b> and reading.<\/b>. Diving into romance novels, thrillers, as well as pure professional literature can appeal to me immensely.\u00a0<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

MY BACKGROUND AS A PSYCHOLOGIST<\/span><\/h2>\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

In 2003, I graduated as clinical psychologist<\/b> at the University of Ghent. My career started in schools as a psychologist, followed by 10 years of work in a CLB, then switching to working with adults<\/b> in a therapeutic practice<\/b>.\u00a0<\/p>

In 2012 I switched to my own psychotherapy practice in Maarkedal Oudenaarde. I continuously schooled and trained myself with very beautiful valuable trainings<\/b> (including a postgraduate degree in cognitive behavioral therapy \/ EMDR Europe Practitioner \/ ACT \/ schema therapy...).\u00a0<\/p>

Working with fear and trauma<\/b> grew into my specialization and passion. These are themes in which I feel I can really help people move forward.<\/p>

That same passion led to the creation of SOLTA<\/strong>, a specialized group practice<\/b> around anxiety. I thus began my counseling asrecognised psychologist psychotherapist in addition to Maarkedal also in Oudenaarde.\u00a0<\/span>Through weekly intervision and collaboration, we strengthen each other's expertise.<\/span><\/p>

I also enjoy sharing my years of intensively accumulated experience with colleagues and students through supervision<\/b> to help people move forward faster in this way as well.\u00a0<\/p>\t\t\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t<\/div>\n\t\t\t\t

Within my psychotherapy practice in Maarkedal and Ename, I find it very important that, first and foremost, you can feel at ease as a person.<\/p>

Everyone deserves a respectfully<\/b> and listening<\/b> ear, against whom he\/she can confidently tell his\/her story.\u00a0<\/p>

Sometimes only a sounding board is needed. At other times, through good interaction and collaboration, it is necessary to arrive at deeper insights and changes.<\/p>

You are and will remain\u00a0expert<\/b> in yourself and your story. I can add value from my objective position, my years of accumulated experience and my theoretical knowledge. Together<\/b> we certainly get a long way that way.\u00a0<\/p>
